We are proud to have in our portfolio events that have contributed to elevating various brands. Lately, events dedicated to sustainability and green technology have become more important as companies rely on a good ESG strategy.
This year, The Good Company was the communications partner for consolid8 Festival and was in charge of presenting a concept that set out to create a new experience of niche events such as technology and sustainability.
consolid8 festival is the first festival in Eastern Europe dedicated to green technology and sustainability, now in its second edition.
The festival is built on three pillars: consolid8 Talks, consolid8 Experiences and consolid8 Hackathon. For three days, participants had the chance to meet founders, investors, innovators, scientists, creators and other curious minds who have the power to change people’s lives for the better. Keynote speeches, panels, satellite events, interactive activations, workshops, exhibitions and other surprise activities set the stage for those looking for long-term change.
The objective was to use creative communication covering all important aspects that make consolid8 festival a great weekend destination, where information, education and a good relaxing vibe are the main ingredients for sustainable future growth. The focus was on the over 40 speakers that are coming from all corners of the world to provide advice and share knowledge.
The target audience revolved around prolific sustainability enthusiasts and already established entrepreneurs looking for green solutions to optimize their business. While professionals and generally business-oriented audience was in focus, we wanted to get closer also to the younger generation, through a more relaxed approach.
We used social media (Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram) as well as online news websites and influencer’s contribution.
The GOOD Company created the “Green Vision, Impactful Solutions” concept starting from the festivals need to connect humans with nature and technology for sustainable good solutions.
We transposed this into creative visuals depicting technology, nature elements and people that already have achieved great results in making the world a better place. The creative approach also included highlighting Brașov a city that proved to have made meaningful steps in becoming a “greener” one.
The GOOD Solution
consolid8 festival is part of consolid8 the first Romanian crowdfunding platform through rewards for social entrepreneurs and those in the creative industries, and the collaboration with The Good Company started a few years ago when an impactful visual identity was needed.
Because of an established trust foundation, we moved forward with providing consolid8 Festival with strategic communications services, and now at the 2nd edition, in 2023, apart from bringing our strategic expertise and social media direction and implementation to the table, we refreshed the social media pages with compelling visual content.
The communication was developed around strategic pillars, with a focus on the themes supported by more than 40 speakers, Paula Herlo (Senior Correspondent & Producer for „Romania, te iubesc! „), Corina Murafa (Energy & Climate Policy Expert), Frank Müller (COO@BEM – Bundesverband eMobilität – The German Federal Association for eMobility), Claudiu Butacu (Co-Founder @EFdeN & energiaTa, Lecturer @BISM), Matei Dumitrescu (Founder @Commons Accel, Vice President @Techangels), Helen Spence-Jackson (Head of Brussels Office @Environmental Defense Fund), Horia Petran (Coordinator @Pro-nZEB Cluster), Raluca Prelucă (Partner & Senior Consultant @structural-funds.ro, among others. Urban mobility, energy communities, how to combine art, technology and architecture, green start-ups were just some of the topics they debated, as the consolid8 Talks stage became the place to look for solutions for a better future in green cities.
It was a challenge to align with their already well-known communication actions, given that the festival was only at its second edition. However, a good organisation in terms of their presentation, coupled with posts dedicated to each niche, for understanding the fields, made it accessible to communicate their projects to the public.
Over 80 pieces of content generated by press releases and dedicated articles during five months of communication.
